Huntington firefighters were called on to knock down a structure fire in frigid temperatures early Friday morning. The blaze was reported shortly before 2 a.m. in the 700 block of 11th Avenue, according to a social media post from the Huntington Fire Department. The post said the building was unoccupied and no injuries were reported. Firefighters reported receiving assistance on scene from Cabell County EMS and Huntington police. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
