The Wayne County Courthouse recently opened a new courtroom. WCHS TV said the new third-floor space is used by the Wayne County Circuit Court which has two judges. The expansion includes a new jury room, new furniture and an ADA compliant jury box. The construction took about a year and cost of $2.1 million. Several funding sources, including grants totaling more than $1 million, helped complete the project.
