Wednesday weather plaayed havoc with traffic

Wednesday was another day of weather-related crashes after a dusting of snow caused a surprising amount of trouble during the sub-freezing hours of the morning. Kanawha County was especially hard hit, from Tuppers Creek to the Jackson County line. One SUV ended up nearly vertical on a hillside with someone inside yelling for help. Another crash with a rollover sent four to the hospital. There were other wrecks that completely shut down southbound I-77. The Charleston area and a lot of West Virginia are under a winter storm advisory expected to put 2-4 inches of snow on the ground today.
