According to a social media post shared by Senator Shelley Moore Capito, the declarations include Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, Maryland, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Indiana, West Virginia, and Kentucky. The move allows federal agencies to stage resources in advance and speed up assistance. West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey requested the declaration for the state on Friday.
