A former employee at a Charleston pizza restaurant has pleaded not guilty in a drive-thru shooting case.
Jahtique Farmer appeared in court this week facing charges including attempted murder, malicious wounding, and use of a firearm during a felony.
Police say Farmer was working at the Little Caesars on Patrick Street Plaza in October when he became irritated by a man outside the store. Investigators say Farmer retrieved a gun from his car and fired three shots through the drive-thru window at customer Rashawn Bowles, who was ordering a pizza.
Bowles was hit twice but drove himself to the hospital and is expected to recover. Surveillance video reportedly shows the shooting.
Farmer is being held on a $250,000 cash-only bond. His trial is set for April 20.
