Monday fire remains under investigation

A building that caught fire in Charleston on Monday has been deemed a total loss by emergency crews. The fire was reported just after noon in the 700 block of Indiana Avenue, and Eyewitness News said flames started from the base of the building and moved up to the roof, which later collapsed. No people were injured, but a dog died in the blaze. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
