A $250 million private pipeline investment is headed to Mason County.
Governor Patrick Morrisey announced that Hope Gas is moving forward with the project, aimed at expanding capacity for manufacturers and improving service for homes and small businesses. The project is expected to create more than 600 construction jobs.
Morrisey made the announcement during the grand opening of the Edward M. Smith National Career and Life Skills Development Center in Clarksburg, which houses heavy equipment simulators and live pipeline infrastructure.
