A fire at a power plant in Winfield is under investigation. The Winfield Volunteer Fire Department responded to a blaze at a stand-alone building at the John Amos Power Plant early Sunday morning. Investigators said the structure was not connected to any power producing units and did not spread to any other buildings. The investigation into the cause is continuing.
