Funeral arrangements have been made for a Charleston firefighter and medic who died while on duty this week. The funeral for Jason Linwood Cuffee will be Friday, July 24, at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and the funeral will start at 11 a.m. The funeral is open to the public, and parking is free. All who attend are required to wear a face mask. Cuffee died after suffering an apparent medical emergency Monday morning at Charleston Fire Station 3 on Oakwood Road. Cuffee served the fire department for five years, and was previously a stand-out athlete for Poca High School on the basketball court and football field.
