Suspect arrested in Pike County shooting

A man wanted in a Pike County shooting is under arrest. Patrick Jackson evaded deputies for most of the day on Monday before being taken into custody at a home in Cynthiana. He’s accused of shooting a man on Greenridge Road. The victim is in serious condition.

Nearly 100 arrested in federal gang crime operation

Nearly one-hundred people are under arrest in an operation targeting violent gang crime. The U.S. Marshals Service and local law enforcement agencies conducted a month long operation and arrested five gang members, three people accused of murder, and found three missing children from California.

More than 200,000 votes already cast in WV
