Man hurt in Lesage shooting

A man is recovering after he was shot in the arm in the Lesage area. The victim was checking on his father’s property, because of issues with trespassers, when someone fired shots from a vehicle. No arrests have been made.

Mingo County shooting under investigation

Mingo County deputies are investigating a fatal shooting in the Delbarton area. A man was found shot to death outside a home on Hell Creek Road. A suspect was taken into custody, but no charges have been filed.
