Prestonburg police are looking for an inmate who escaped from a hospital. Thirty-one-year-old Jesse Karr took off while his restraints were removed during treatment. He is 6’-2” and weighs around two-hundred-pounds. Additional warrants have been issued for his arrest.

A mother and father are facing charges in connection to the death of their eleven-month-old baby girl. Police found the baby dead in her crib at her Portsmouth home. Autopsy results led to the parents facing charges for manslaughter, possession of a fentanyl-related compound, and drug possession.

An SUV caught fire on Route-23 near the Portsmouth Bridge. Within minutes the vehicle was fully engulfed. A mother and her two kids were able to get out safely.

A woman is under arrest for stabbing a man in the arm. The victim showed up at CAMC Memorial Hospital, and told police he’d gotten into a fight with 38-year-old Jodi Ecklund at a home in Malden. She’s charged with malicious wounding. He’s expected to be okay.
