More financial trouble for the Justice family…The IRS filed a more than one-million-dollar lien against the Greenbrier Hotel Corporation. The lien indicates the taxes date back to 2018 for payment of employment taxes. The IRS filed a more than eight-million-dollar lien on property owned by Jill Justice, the governor’s daughter and president of the Greenbrier.
West Virginia State Police are vying for the “Best Looking Cruiser” in the country. The contest is a friendly competition between state agencies to see who has the best looking police vehicles. Georgia State Police won the 2020 contest.

The investigation continues into a structure fire the broke out behind a Dollar General store in Moundsville. Two people were trapped on the second floor of an apartment building. Firefighters were able to get them, and they were flown to an area hospital in unknown condition.
Summer school activities at Duval PK-8 are being moved to another location, after the building was closed last week due to structural concerns. Classes will be held this week at the Pre-K primary building next to the main school.
A man who led police on a multi-county chase is under arrest. Thirty-three-year-old Red Davis is accused of cutting off his ankle monitor while on furlough from jail and leading police on a chase through Megs and Gallia Counties.
