Baby’s foster mother takes stand in parent’s murder trial

Infant Dylan Groves’ foster mother took the stand in the trial against his parents Jessica and Daniel Groves. They’re accused of killing their six-month-old son, who was found in a well last June. Foster mother Andrea Bowling gave emotional testimony about the 12 days spent with the baby.

More than 1,000 doses of meth sezied in traffic stop

A man and a woman are facing drug charges for supplying large amounts of meth to three different counties. Thirty-six-year-old George Stacy and 33-year-old Brittany Cassady were taken into custody after officers seized more than one-thousand doses of meth during a traffic stop.

Legislation would protect people with preexisting health conditions

West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey announced legislation that would maintain protections for people with preexisting health conditions. The West Virginia Healthcare Continuity Act would ensure that people with preexisting conditions do not lose the ability to buy health insurance as federal courts consider a challenge to Obamacare.

Justice cleared of wrong-doing in federal probe

Governor Justice and his family have been cleared on any wrong-doing in a federal probe. The U.S. Justice Department was looking into improprieties at the Military Tribute at the Greenbrier Golf Tournament. The Justice Department says the investigation is over and no charges will be filed.
