VA serial killer sentenced to 7 life terms

Judge Thomas Kleeh called Reta Mays a monster, and sentenced her to seven consecutive life sentences, plus an additional 20 years. Mays is a former nursing assistant who admitted giving fatal insulin injections to seven vets at the Clarksburg VA Medical Center.

Truck stolen off dealer’s lot

Police are looking for a suspect who stole a pickup off the dealer’s lot in Nitro. They got away with a 2016 dark gray Dodge Ram 1500. The stolen truck has dealer tags and is lifted with black rims. Contact State Police if you have any information.

WVU student dies in fall

Morgantown police are investigating after a WVU student died from a fall. He was found on the sidewalk near an off-campus apartment complex on Baird Street. There is no indication of foul play.

WVU Student’s Death is Under Investigation

City of Morgantown officials say a West Virginia University student died last week. City spokesperson Andrew Stacy said a male student died Thursday, May 6 at Central Place Apartments on Baird Street. Morgantown Police are investigating.
