A Milton woman is under arrest on drug charges. Officers responded to a disturbance call at Sue Terrace, and they found Amanda Morrison with a large bag of drugs stuffed in her pocket. Police found cocaine, heroin, and thirty ecstasy pills.
Police are looking for a Bath County, Kentucky woman who fired shots at a sheriff’s deputy during a traffic stop. Molly Stephens was the passenger in the car and fired at the officer when he got into an altercation with the driver. She took of in a white Nissan Rogue.
Classes begin this morning at Marshall University. Classes will be in-person and online. Officials are expecting a thirty-percent drop in attendance.
Voters passed an 87-point-5-million-dollar school bond in a special election in Cabell County. The current bond will expire next year. The new bond will be in effect for fifteen-years and will fund renovation and expansion projects.
