The first criminal trial since the start of the pandemic is set to take place in a Kanawha County courtroom. Cynthia Gatewood’s trial will start Monday. Man accused of making terroristic threats put on probation

A Kanawha County Judge is putting Thomas Bass on probation. He’s charged with making terroristic threats after leaving messages on the Kanawha County School district’s tip line that someone was going to shoot up or blow up South Charleston Middle School. Bass will spend eighteen months on probation with mental health treatment.

Murder suspect arrested in Clendenin

An Ohio murder suspect is under arrest in Clendenin. Twenty-five-year-old Jacob Harper is accused of shooting and killing a man in the rural area of Kimbolton. Police got a tip that he was staying with a family member in the area.
