Police are looking for a Logan County man who shot and wounded a man when they got into an argument on Campfire Road in Whitman. Fifty-five-year-old Ronnie Cooper is wanted for attempted murder. The victim is recovering at Cabell-Huntington Hospital.

A deadly fire in Milton…Don Hiles died when the blaze broke out at his Sansom Court home. His wife was rescued from the fire and is recovering from smoke inhalation. Officials think the fire started in the chimney.
A suspect is recovering after he was shot by Kanawha County deputies. The officers were investigating a suspicious person call in the West Gate subdivision in Cross Lanes when 49-year-old Michael Davis fired at them. Officers returned fire and shot him. When he is released from the hospital Davis will be charged with attempted murder.
Seven people were injured in a shooting at the Kulture Hooka Bar in downtown Huntington. Two people got into a fight, and the shooting started inside the bar and continued outside. None of the injuries are considered life threatening. No arrests have been made.
