Beech Fork State Park hosted a charity event in the form of a disc golf tournament last Saturday. The “Frost Bite Freeze Out” benefited the Huntington City Mission and the Beech Fork Foundation, raising more than $2,000 as about 100 people registered to play in the event. The next disc golf tournament scheduled for our region will be the 25th Annual Huntington Ice Bowl at Rotary Park. The event is set for Jan. 29 and proceeds will benefit the Facing Hunger Foodbank.
