The Williamson Fire Department said an alleged murder weapon used before an apartment fire has been recovered from Laurel Lake. The fire department’s dive team, as well as the Williamson Police Department, recovered a hammer Wednesday from the lake. The department said the weapon was used in the murder of John Jackson on May 16, 2020, in an apartment on Elm Street.
