The Charleston Sternwheel Regatta is well into its planning stages. Wednesday, event organizers announced entertainment headliners for this year’s event. The regatta will be held from Wednesday, July 3 through Sunday, July 7 with musical acts gracing the Haddad Riverfront Park stage on four nights. Reggae artist Shaggy will kick off the long weekend. The Fab Four will follow on Thursday, performing a tribute to the Beatles. Montgomery Gentry featuring Eddie Montgomery will play a country set on Friday. Saturday, it will be the “I Love the 90s Tour,” featuring Vanilla Ice, Treach of Naughty by Nature, Tone Loc and Young MC. The 2024 regatta will mark the third year since its 2022 return following a 12-year absence.
