WV delegation votes “no” on Trump impeachment

President Trump has been impeached for a second time. West Virginia’s three representatives, Carol Miller, David McKinley and Alex Mooney, all voted against the measure. Ten Republicans joined with Democrats to charge the President with incitement of insurrection.

Drug Sweep in Jackson County Serves 113 Warrants

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office began a huge drug warrant sweep Wednesday morning involving several law enforcement agencies. A Facebook post from the sheriff’s office said officers were acting on 113 warrants for various drug offenses involving methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, fentanyl, prescription narcotics and marijuana. The Jackson County Bureau of Investigations spearheaded the effort.

Gov. Justice wants “orange” zone expanded

Governor Justice wants to expand the orange zone on the state’s COVID-19 alert map. He says it would give schools more flexibility in returning to the classroom.
