A woman who was shot in the leg says she made up the story about being shot in a drive-by, and accidentally shot herself. Her injuries are not life-threatening.

A west side house was hit by gunfire. Two bullets hit the house on Delaware Avenue. The shots came from a dark colored Dodge Charger. No one was hurt. No arrests have been made.

The Mountain State is bracing for its first significant snow fall. Steady rain today will turn into snow tonight as temperatures fall throughout the day. The lowlands and river valleys may get up to two inches of snow. Up to four inches is possible in the northern parts of the state and the mountains.
