Man arrested in death of Morgantown woman

A man is under arrest in the death of Alexa Randolph. Sixty-year-old Gary Smith is charged with first degree murder. Smith is the paternal grandfather of Randolph’s child. Her body was found last month in a Walmart parking lot in Morgantown.

Charleston City Council resumes in person meetings

Charleston City Council will resume in-person meetings at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center beginning next week. Mayor Goodwin says there is great value in meeting in person, but also recognizes the importance of doing so in a socially distant and responsible manner.
